SV Srinivasan, 59, CEO of BHEL Tiruchi, has been appointed Executive Director effective July 1, 2021.
The BHEL Tiruchi complex includes a high pressure boiler plant (blocks I and II) and a seamless steel pipe plant in Tiruchi, a pipeline installation for a power plant in Tirumayam, a pipeline center in Chennai and an industrial valve plant in Goindwala (Punjab).
Mr. Srinivasan from Srirangam started his career at BHEL Tiruchi in 1984 as a trainee engineer. He headed the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department at BHEL Tiruchi and then headed the Outsourcing Department for two years before taking on the position of Head of Pipeline Department of Tirumayan Power Plant and Chennai Pipeline Centre.
Before taking over as CEO of BHEL Tiruchi Complex, he led the NTPC business group in the energy sector of BHEL’s corporate office in New Delhi.
